Two of them work perfectly to make a 1/2 recipe layer cake. The only problem is with the rolled rims, which are not evenly tight to the outsides of the pans all the way around. Since the two pans are identically uneven I'd guess that part of the manufacturing process needs adjustment. This flaw isn't enough to justify returning them, though. I only have one other round cake pan that's as heavy as these, and it was my mother's and was probably bought in the 1950s. |
